Shania's Seattle Portrait Session

Shania recently moved to WA and reached out to me about having her portraits taken in her new city. She didn’t need anything specific; she just wanted to have creative new portraits. Ya’ll know how much I love this type of photo session! We talked about wardrobe for her lifestyle session in advance and she totally came prepared with a variety of super cute outfits and accessories so we had a blast creating gorgeous images both in my studio and outside with the remaining fall leaves.

Before her session, Shania expressed to me what most women do, that she had some insecurities and isn’t the most photogenic. I assured her not to worry and that I’d show her in the best light possible. When she saw her photos, she said “I finally selected my photos. It was so tough! I literally loved so many of them...your photography is amazing!” Witnessing my clients seeing themselves in a new light of confidence and beauty is what keeps me going! I love the power of a personal portrait!
