Mommy & Me Fall session

My dear friend Katrina flew in from Washington this fall, just in time to squeeze in a photo session of her and her darling little girl before the (too cold) fall weather set in. I photographed Mayah as a baby so it's exciting to have the chance to photograph her as she gets older and develops into an adorable one-year-old, running around, forming sentences and curious about

everything

I think it's amazing that Katrina schedules these shoots with her baby girl whenever she comes up to visit; the photographs are going to be a priceless treasure for generations to come. I can picture it now, Mayah all grown up and showing her kids how gorgeous her mama is!

It's fabulous when parents schedule shoots of just their kids, but moms (and dads), don't ever be afraid to jump into a couple photos with your precious little ones. The photos of your kids are for

you

right now, but someday, they will be passed on to your grown kids, who will especially want the images with you in them as well.
